Showerstoyou.co.uk found that these are the ways men and women are experimenting with their looks in lockdown. While women are playing around more with colour, men seem to be playing around with length.

At the top of the list for men is growing a beard - 75 per cent.

With many jobs not allowing them and the patchy phase being real for many, now is the perfect time to go for it.

The majority – 83 per cent of women are also experimenting with their look and trying different hair lengths.

This can mainly be attributed to the fact that, if it does not go to plan, they do not have to worry about it being seen.
