Jimmy Armfield: U-turn as tribute WILL be held before Yeovil v Man Utd - live on his beloved BBC
League Two Yeovil initially told The Gazette time constraints meant a tribute would have to be paid before Tuesday's league game against Grimsby Town instead - but have since reversed the decision.
Tomorrow's game, expected to be seen by millions, will be aired live on the BBC, where Jimmy spent more than 35 years as a broadcaster.

Hide AdAnd after talks with the BBC's production team this morning, the club said the match will now start at 7.56pm so a minute's applause can be held beforehand.
"We did not take into consideration the connections Jimmy had with the BBC," a spokesman said after being contacted by The Gazette.
Christine Seddon, chairman of the Blackpool Supporters' Trust, praised Yeovil for the change of plan.
She said: "They have obviously thought about it and realise the importance of it. Credit to them. They have held their hands up and done something about it."

Hide AdA BBC spokeswoman confirmed there will now be a minute's applause before kick off, on what will be the first live game shown on the BBC since Jimmy's death in the early hours of Monday.
The ex-Blackpool and England captain, who went on to forge a successful career as a journalist and summariser with BBC Five Live, had long battled cancer. He was 82.
