The founder of print buying and management business, Creative Print North West, in Dickson Road, Blackpool, has been chosen as one of just four finalists for the UK Young Microentrepreneur of the Year award in the Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards, from the Citi Foundation.

Jake is the former chairman of Blackpool Youth Voice, the resort’s youth council. Having volunteered for local charities from the age of seven, he saw first-hand how they needed good quality printing at affordable prices, and started a community printing operation in 2012 while still in high school.

In 2016 he launched Creative Print North West to provide business cards, flyers promotional merchandise, including large format Monkey Banners at low costs.

Financial support from “responsible finance” provider, Business Finance Solutions helped him create an online platform and invest in new equipment.
