A woman was rescued by RNLI and Coastguard teams after becoming stranded on a sandbank near North Shore.
The incident happened around 8pm close to the Formulakart site on Queen’s Promenade.
A Coastguard spokesman said: “We received mutiple 999 calls reporting a person on a sandbank near the go kart track.
“We tasked the Lytham Coastguard Rescue team and both Blackpool inshore lifeboats to the area.
