A WOMAN admitted behaving drunkenly in front of her 100 year old grandmother.

Karen Bishop, 46, of Ringway Drive, Thornton, was one of the elderly woman’s carers, Blackpool magistrates were told. Bishop admitted causing a breach of the peace and was bound over for six months in the sum of £100.

Brett Gerrity, prosecuting, said police were called to the house where the grandmother lived where Bishop was drunk and offensive to nursing staff who were present.

Bishop told magistrates: “I want to apologise to the court and to my grandmother.”
