Woman badly injured in collision with car
A woman pedestrian was taken to hospital after colliding with a car near to Lytham Green.
Police say the casualty suffered “a number of fractures” but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The incident happened in East Beach, Lytham around tea-time today and the woman was treated by paramedics before being taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Police accident investigators were examining the scene. The collision caused traffic hold-ups in the area.
