St Annes Parish Church is staging its biggest Charity Christmas Tree Festival yet, with more than 30 trees on show along with a wide variety of festive wreaths in memory of lost loved ones.
The event continues at the church daily from 1.30pm to 4.30pm up to and including Saturday and also includes a tombola, refreshments stalls and a children’s competition.
The trees, donated by a range of organisations, some connected to the church and others around the town generally, including businesses, will continue to be displayed in the church through Christmas and vicar Fr David Lyon said: “They really do look wonderful.
“The Festival has grown steadily over the last few years and it has already attracted a good number of visitors, many from some miles away as well as those locally.
“We hope to welcome many more people over the next few days.”
