Trafford magistrates court heard how the pair subjected staff to a foul-mouthed tirade before police were called to arrest them.

They initially accepted penalty notices - but later decided to take their cases to court.

Chadwick pleaded guilty to a public order offence, while Hadfield-Hyde was found guilty after a trial.

The incident happened on December 3 last year, when the pair shared a bottle of wine before their 6.15 am flight to Malaga.

Defending herself, Hadfield-Hyde, of Warton Street, Lytham, claimed she had been ordered to strip off by a guard.

She was ordered to pay a £55 fine and £850 costs.

Her friend Chadwick, a mum-of-one, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £500 costs.
