Police are continuing to question three men after a man died in hospital after he was stabbed in Blackpool.
Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the incident on Central Drive this morning.
Officers were called to the street at around 1.05am by paramedics who found the 30-year-old man with stab wounds to his hip, thigh and shoulder.
He was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but later died.
Four men where arrested but a 34-year-old man has been released without charge.
A 45-year-old 31-year-old and a 33-old-man from Blackpool have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.
Det Supt Andy Murphy, of Lancashire Police, said the police have upped their patrols to reassure the public.
He said: “Our enquiries are continuing following the death of a 30-year-old man in Blackpool.
“At this time the motive of this attack is unclear and we have made several arrests.
“A fourth man has been released no charge.
“We know this incident must be concerning for people in the area and we have a number of extra officers on patrol to offer reassurance.
