UPDATE: Man talked down from bridge over railway
A man spotted on a Blackpool bridge overlooking a railway has been taken to hospital after concerns were raised for his safety.
Police officers were called to Watson Road bridge, near Bond Street, at around 1pm.
The man was successfully talked down one hour later and was taken by ambulance to Blackpool Victoria Hospital at 2.30pm.
The road has now been reopened.
