Tributes have been paid to Blackpool FC’s former stadium announcer after he died.
Chris Hull, 64, was the public announcer at Bloomfield Road for close to 30 years and was a funeral director in Poulton.
In a Facebook post his son, Chris Hull, said: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you of the very sudden passing of my father Chris Hull, aged just 64, this morning.
“A funeral director serving the community, a lifelong Blackpool FC supporter, PA announcer at Bloomfield Road for 30 years, writer of plays...among many other countless roles you will no doubt recall. The most incredibly generous and caring man I will ever know.”
In a tweet Blackpool FC said: “Blackpool FC is saddened to learn of the passing of former PA announcer and supporter Chris Hull Snr. Condolences to his family.”
