Commuters on the Fylde coast have been held up after two cars were involved in a head-on collision on a busy road.
Police were called out to the crash, on Mains Lane, Singleton, at around 6.15pm today.
The incident took place outside the BP petrol station.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “I can confirm we received a call regarding a front end impact involving two cars on Mains Lane.”
The extend of any injuries to those involved is not yet known.
Motorists in the area have reported long delays as cars are unable to get through.
