No service on Blackpool tramway due to 'dangerous conditions' until further notice

There will be no service on the tramway today until further notice due to "high winds and dangerous conditions."

Blackpool Transport have confirmed that there would be no service on the tramway until further notice at 5.04am today (February 11).

The transport operator said the reason for the decision was due to high winds and danger of injury.

A limited bus replacement service and the number one bus will be in operation.

A Blackpool Transport spokesperson said: "Due to high winds and dangerous conditions there will be no service on the tramway until further notice."
