Ambulance crews say one man was taken to hospital with what were described as minor injuries.

A spokesman for the Ambulance Service said: "We were called after a car and a motorbike collided.

"An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene along with the police.

"A man in his 20s was taken to Royal Preston Hospital."

Ambulance services were unable to confirm whether the man taken to hospital was the motorcyclist or the driver of the car.
