M6 closed between J18 and 19 after 'serious' crash
Drivers are being asked to seek alternative routes following a serious accident on the M6 northbound.
Both carriageways have been closed at around 1.15pm on Thursday between junctions 18 for A54 Middlewich Road and 19 for Chester Road.
Traffic is queuing in the area and and diversion is in place.
An air ambulance has landed in a nearby field.
