Crash smashes rear window of car leaving glass scattered on road near Kirkham

Images from the scene show the rear window of a car - which looks to be a grey Honda Jazz - was shattered during the crash, leaving glass strewn across the road.

A motorcycle was also involved in the collision, according to eyewitness reports.

Officers have confirmed minor injuries were sustained as a result of the smash, but were unable to provide further details at this stage.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "It looks like it is a minor injury collision so we wouldn't be able to offer any more information."
