Car strikes deer in Lytham, leaving couple trapped
A couple were unharmed but stuck in their black Peugeot car and shaken up after hitting a deer that bolted in front of them.
Firefighters were called to Ballam Road in Lytham, close to Ballam Oaks, to free the pair at around 5.45pm on Wednesday after the collision damaged their vehicle.
They searched the area after they arrived but were unable to find the deer, which had ran off, a spokesman said.
