A motorcyclist suffered suspected hip and leg injuries after a collision with a car.
The 26-year-old woman, riding a Yamaha bike, collided with a Fiat 500 car on Ribby Road in Kirkham around 5.40pm yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said: “A car and a bike were involved in a collision in Ribby Road at 5.40pm.
“The woman is believed to have suffered leg and hip injuries but is conscious, talking and breathing.
“The driver of the car was not reported as having been injured.
“Police and paramedics attended the scene to assist the woman.
“An accident recovery team was also requested to recover the motorbike and clear-up debris on the road.”
Police confirmed the female motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries.
The road re-opened several hours later.
