An Anchorsholme road remains closed today after a late-night car crash damaged traffic signals.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Anchorsholme Lane near Lidl to reports that a blue BMW had collided with a blue Audi Quattro at around 10.15pm yesterday.
The two male drivers and a female passenger all suffered minor injuries in the crash, which also caused damage to traffic lights between Anchorsholme Lane and Fleetwood Road. The area remains closed off while traffic light repairs are carried out.
Paramedics attended the scene and one of the men, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital by his family members with suspected whiplash.
Fire crews from Bispham and Fleetwood were called, but were not needed. The damaged vehicles were removed by police by 11.45pm.
A Blackpool Council spokesman said: “Due to a RTA, the track crossing at Anchorsholme Lane/Fleetwood Road is closed until further notice for E.ON to repair traffic signals.”
