Woman hurt in three car smash

Police were called to Trunnah Road at around 10am today following reports of a crash.

The incident involved a Vauxhall Zafira, Vauxhall Corsa and a Hyundai.

Ambulance crews and fire crews were also called to the scene. The road has been closed to allow recovery of the vehicles.

Police said one woman had been taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital having been treated at the scene.

Details of her injuries were not available.
