Update: M6 congestion at Preston is easing
Traffic on the M6 and M55 had previously come to a standstill, but is now easing.
Congestion is now easing on the M6 southbound between J32 and J31.
The carriageway had previously been experiencing long delays.
This also affected the eastbound M55 link with the M6.
But traffic is now moving again.
