Two-car crash leads to tailbacks on Preston New Road, Blackpool
Drivers heading out of Blackpool were delayed by a crash on the main route to the M55.
A Vauxhall and a Ford were in collision on the A583 Preston New Road, close to the junction with Cherry Tree Road shortly after 2pm.
A police spokesman said the incident was 'damage only' and that traffic started to flow freely again after the vehicles were cleared.
