Police called to help man on Prom
Police were called to a private address on the Promenade at Bispham following reports a man had injured himself, a spokesman said.
Four vehicles were pictured close to the junction with Chatsworth Avenue after officers were called at 9.30am.
The man, in his 40s, was detained by officers and treated by paramedics.
The incident was still ongoing at 11am, the spokesman added.
