Man, 70, remains in hospital after Fleetwood crash

A 70-year-old motorcyclist, who was involved in a collision with a car in Fleetwood, remains in hospital, say police.

Police and ambulance services were called to Amounderness Way close to the Nautical Campus at around 4.50pm on Thursday, April 19 following the crash.

Officers say the accident involved a silver Volkswagen Golf and are now investigating.

A spokesman for the police said: "We're investigating after a man came off his bike following an accident in Fleetwood.

"He was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with injuries to his ribs and a possible head injury."

The man is not believed to have been seriously injured in the accident.

No arrests have been made.
