Flats evacuated after fire breaks out close to historic Winter Gardens in Blackpool
Two flats near to the Winter Gardens in Blackpool town centre were evacuated after rubbish in a nearby out-building went up in flames at around 7.25am yesterday.
Two crews of firefighters from Blackpool tackled the fire, which is now under investigation.
Crews spent around two hours at the scene, carrying out their investigation and clearing the rubbish.
