Flat fire at South Shore

A blaze at a ground floor flat in Blackpool's South Shore was attended by three fire engines.

The crews from both Blackpool and South Shore station were called out to the incident on Brighton Avenue at around 4pm on Saturday afternoon, along with an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn .

.Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used three hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
