Driver hurt in two-car crash
A road was closed and traffic diverted following a car crash in St Annes that left one driver with head injuries.
Police and ambulance services were called to the a junction at St Annes Road East at around 12.30pm to reports that a silver Mercedes Benz A-Class Avantgarde and a black Reneault Cleo had collided.
One driver suffered minor head and neck injuries.
A road block was put in place and traffic diverted. Emergency services remain at the scene as of 1.30pm.
