'Cold and wet' woman helped from the sea by good Samaritan
A good Samaritan came to her aid after spotting her in the water opposite the lifeboat station on the Promenade.
Volunteers at the RNLI were called at 1pm and gave her first aid until paramedics arrived.

Hide AdShe was described as 'cold and wet' but is not believed to have been badly injured.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said the woman is believed to be in her 40s, and suffered a cut above her eye.
She was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, which was put on standby for her arrival, with 'minor injuries', the spokeswoman added.
Paramedics were called by police at 1.05pm.
