BREAKING: Holiday jet bound for Mediterranean from Manchester declares emergency
A British passenger plane bound for a Mediterranean holiday island has declared an emergency whie over Southern England this morning.
The emergency was declared at around 9.20am on the Jet2 flight from Manchester to Mallorca.
The aircraft has done a u-turn and is now heading northwards.
The reason for the mid-air emergency is not currently known.
