Drivers in Poulton are being told to expect long delays after three cars collided outside a petrol station.
The smash happened at around 3.30pm, when one vehicle pulled out of BP Petrol Station on Mains Lane in Poulton and collided with an oncoming car, which then crashed into another car.
The vehicles involved included a white Peugeot 206, a silver Volkswagen Golf, and a silver Vauxhall Corsa, police said.
Police, ambulance and fire and rescue services were called to the scene.
A Fylde Police spokesperson posted on social media: “The road is currently blocked and will cause long delays. If possible can you please use an alternative route.”
A North West Ambulance spokeswoman said: “We were called to the scene at around 3.45pm. There were three people involved in the crash including an elderly woman. One was taken to hospital by their family. Another sustained no injuries, and one remained at the scene with ambulance services but is also expected to travel to hospital with family.”
