Temperatures are expected to hit 20c across the North West tomorrow as the recent spell of good weather continues - but make the most of it as the rain is moving in for the weekend.
The Met Office tells us to expect a fine and bright day today, with some decent spells of sunshine and just fair weather cloud. With continued light winds, it will feel warm in the sunshine and a maximum temperature of 19c is on the cards.
There will be clear spells for most of tonight, with just patchy cloud. Under the clearest skies, in rural spots, there is chance of a ground frost. Minimum Temperature 3c.
Tomorrow (Thursday) will see a cool, bright start to the day with plenty of sunshine developing across the region and just fair weather cloud. Maximum Temperature expected is 20c.
Looking ahead to Friday and the weekend, the Met Office is predicting a mainly dry and bright Friday, with thicker cloud and rain crossing overnight into Saturday. A fresh breeze will move in over the weekend with showers possible, further rain likely Sunday.
