The teens take pictures inside the ground before running as police are spotted

The youths, who uploaded edited footage of their escapades online, have now been warned their behaviour is putting their lives in danger.

Blackpool North and Cleveleys MP Paul Maynard said: “I’m disappointed to hear these some young people are putting themselves at risk.

“This sort of behaviour could all too quickly lead to tragedy, and that’s not what anyone wants.”

Although it isn’t known when the three videos were originally filmed, they were posted to YouTube by user ‘Skyrise’ within the past three months.

In one six-minute-long clip, six youths dressed in tracksuit pants and hooded tops cross a carpark outside Bloomfield Road before scaling a fence. After jumping down into Blackpool FC’s ground, one of the boys fist pumps as the Armfield Stand comes into view.

They take pictures and do forward rolls on the turf before they run off when one of the group shouts: “Police, run.”

The video shows them returning and appearing to hide from a ‘manager’ inside the ground before again fleeing, purportedly when police arrived for a second time.

In another video called ‘Winter Rooftop Climbs’, Skyrise, an account with 172 subscribers, shows the youths, whom The Gazette have chosen not to identify because of their age, travelling into Blackpool on the tram.

Dressed all in black, they stroll along the Promenade before climbing on top of the Houndshill Shopping Centre and peering over the top towards the Calypso Hotel in Albert Road as the sun sets.

Further footage claims to show them ‘sneaking into the stage practice room’ in the Winter Gardens before eventually being escorted out by several members of security, climbing a drainpipe onto the roof at Holy Family Catholic Primary School in North Shore, and trespassing inside the abandoned Ambassador Hotel.

Mr Maynard said facilities like the climbing towers and boulder wall in Bancroft Park and the high ropes at Stanley Park mean there is no need for youngsters to put themselves in danger.

A spokesman for Blackpool FC declined to comment.

Lancashire Police said trespassing is a civil matter and also declined to comment.
