A young man has appeared at court and admitted his ninth offence of driving while disqualified.

It was the first time 19-year-old Reece Huskisson has appeared before an adult court for the offence, Blackpool magistrates heard.

The court ordered pre sentence reports on Huskisson who drove a Ford Transit to his home on Argosy Avenue.

His lawyer Peter Manning told the court: “He had bought the van to do it up as part of his business.

“However all his friends had been drinking and could not drive so he chose to drive a short distance himself.”
