A woman threw her teddy bear on to the floor in a tantrum after claiming her boyfriend was keeping her prisoner.

Sharon Torbett, 50, formerly of King Edward Avenue, North Shore, now of Adelaide Street, Fleetwood, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour
after losing her temper on March 9.

Don Green, prosecuting, said when police arrived at the home they found Torbett had been drinking.

Her partner said she could leave at any time, however she then threw her teddy bear down in the street and started swearing.

She was later arrested.

Torbett was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs plus £15 victims’ surcharge at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
