Free sessions are being offered to help 16-25 year olds develop their swimming skills.
Passport to Swim, at Moor Park and Palatine Leisure Centres, is funded by a new Government grant, and aims to help young people improve their fitness and skills.
Those signing up get free swim sessions with an expert coach for six weeks, with sessions for everyone from learners to experienced swimmers.
There are also free aqua classes and use of Blackpool Council’s new Swimtag technology, which helps to measure and analyse performance.
Participating young people will also be eligible to buy a half-price aqua card, lasting a further three months.
The sessions take place at Moor Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and Palatine Leisure Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For details, call (01253) 478474.
