Superheroes sought for Blackpool charity fun day

Students from Blackpool Sixth Form College will be acting as ambassadors at a family fun day to raise money for charity.

They will be at a superhero family fun day at Whyndyke Farm, Marton, on May 19.

The free to enter event runs from 11am to 5pm and will raise money for Brian House Children’s Hospice.

A raft of entertainment is to be provided from bouncy castles and an inflatable football pitch to donkey rides and circus skills.

There will also be a birds of prey display, singers, DJs and face-painting, plus superhero mascots for selfies.

Also appearing will be Disney style princesses, glitter hair and tattoos, the Balloon Guy plus Curious Critters and the Mr Chubbz Magic Show.The org

anisers said: “Please encourage your little ones to dress as superheroes and they will in return receive a free raffle ticket and a chance to win some amazing prizes on the day.”
