Louise Sacha, 38, will travel almost 5,000 miles from Portland, Oregon, to Blackpool just in time to see Take That singer Gary Barlow live at the Opera House on Friday.

The mum-of-three, who used to live in Loughborough, Leicestershire, said she has been a dedicated ‘Thatter’ since her teens.

She said: “In 1992 I fell in love with Take That. I begged for the ‘It Only Takes A Minute’ single for my birthday. I went to see them on tour at Derby Assembly Rooms that November and fell even more in love. I went to all the Take That tours in the 90s and most since the reunion – except when I was having my babies.

“I did meet Gary once, in LA of all places. It was January 2017 and Take That performed on the James Corden show. A group of us, who met via Twitter, went to see the show recording and then after the show Take That came out to meet us. It was amazing – 24 years I had waited for that moment!”

Gary Barlow, (inset) who is the lead singer of Take That and served as a judge on reality show The X Factor for three years, is known to invite guests onstage to sing with him in solo concerts.

And Louise hopes she could be the next lucky fan to join him in the limelight.

She said: “I cannot wait to see Gary live and get into the gig atmosphere. I just want to have an amazing time.

“Being chosen to go on stage with Gary would be truly amazing. A once in a lifetime experience. Whatever will be will be but I would be elated if it was me!”
