Stylish actress impresses at NHS Heroes awards

Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon strutted her stuff on the red carpet at the NHS Heroes Awards on Monday night.

Lucy, 21, from Cleveleys, was praised for her choice of outfit at the bash held at London’s Hilton on Park Lane.

The event coincides with the 70th anniversary of the NHS and recognised the heroism of both professionals and members of the public.

One of the sexual health workers who helped lift the lid on the Rochdale grooming scandal was among those to receive an award.

Sara Rowbotham, 50, got a special recognition honour for years of working with vulnerable children. Her evidence helped lead to the conviction of nine child abusers.

In a video message, Prince William said: “I would like to pay tribute to every member of NHS staff, and the wonderful volunteers who do so much to support them - we owe you all a huge thank you.”

One fashion writer said Lucy ‘sported a pistachio two piece, which she paired with a polka dot crop top, nude heels, matching nude faux fur bag and an impressive pair of pink and green drop down beaded earrings’

It will be broadcast on ITV at 8.30pm on May 21.
