The new calendar, made up of images produced by the students, will raise money for Trinity Hospice and Brian House with every copy sold.

Eye-catching local landmarks are used to illustrate each month of 2018.

Sue Crosbie, spokeman for Blackpool and The Fylde College, said: “We are really pleased with how the calendar turned out and hopefully it will raise lots of money for such a worthwhile cause.

“We wanted to come up with a student project which would be engaging for them but also raise money for the college’s charity.

“As well as stunning photographs taken by students of differing levels of experience, each month features an inspirational and encouraging quote chosen by the team. We think they look great and sales are going really well in college.”
