He'll be hoping to avoid a ballroom meltdown, or at least the real Peter Andre will.
The singer and TV personality holds the unusual position of being the only one of Strictly Come Dancing's stars this year to have a wax likeness in Blackpool's Madame Tussauds.
Peter said his experience of posing for the model, which he unveiled at the Promenade attraction in 2010, had been an embarrassing wake up call.
"They told me I was shorter than I thought I was, I was devastated," he said, of being measured at 5ft 8.5ins - not the 5ft 9ins he thought he was.
But the Tussauds' experts were adamant, so he trusted in their skills.
"It's great, because you can't tell the difference between the waxwork and the real me," he added.
"My mum and dad went back to Australia, but I wish they could have come to this week.
"They have always known about [me being in] Madame Tussauds so they could have seen me there."
Like most participants do, Peter is embracing the Strictly Come Dancing experience, as he prepares to jive on the Blackpool Tower Ballroom floor.
Where the number of layers of fake tan are often the mark of how into the contest they are, for Peter, it's been the height of his trousers.
"They got me in the high-waisted trousers, and were wanting to change them and lower them," he said. "But I loved it and said no.
"I'm loving it all."
See Blackpool Tower go live to the nation tonight at 6.50pm, followed by tomorrow's results show at 7.15pm, both on BBC1.
