The Mustard Seed Group is an outreach service that offers hot meals and advice to homeless and struggling people in the town.

It is co-hosting a family fair and barbecue with staff from Marks and Spencer in Cleveleys, which will take place on June 3 from 11am until 3.30pm at St Peter’s Church in Fleetwood.

Attractions will include a balloon artist and magic show, a colouring competition, a bouncy castle, face painting, and a range of stalls from cake stalls to a bottle bola.

There will be live music from Paul Roskell, Georgia Taylor, John Banks and Keely Hill.

Organiser Rachel Brimelow said: “We are hosting a family fun-filled barbecue to raise awareness of what the charity does within the community. They have a good kitchen that runs every Monday night to help people with different back grounds.”

The group’s soup kitchen is held every Monday night from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
