SLIDESHOW: Crowds get revved up at the Hall
That’s according to the hall’s project manager, Simon Thorpe, who said families and car fanatics turned out in droves for the Classic Car Show at the historic venue.
Mr Thorpe said: “We had a total of 200 cars and motorbikes, from the 1920s right up to the modern classics of the 1980s onwards.

“The Classic Car Show is always a really great even on our calendar. It’s well established at Lytham Hall now and it’s the kind of event we want to have back here next year.”
Mr Thorpe said some people were driven inside by short bursts of rain, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the day.
“It was disappointing with the weather,” he added.
“But we still had a really good turnout as people came with their cars and visitors turned out to view all the vehicles on display. It’s a great family day out, especially for the children.”
