Six crews called to bedroom and shed fires in Blackpool
Firefighters were called to two fires in Blackpool this morning.
Fire crews from Blackpool, Bispham and Wesham were called to Everton Road at 8.30am to a fire in the bedroom of a house.
At 9am, crews from Fleetwood, Preston and Lytham were called to a shed that was 'well alight' on Devonshire Road. A spokesman said they had received 16 calls from concerned members of the public who noticed the smoke.
The road was closed off by police.
Firefighters remain at the scenes of both incidents. No causalities were reported. The causes of the fires are not yet known.
