Singer stands up to cancer through song

A Blackpool singer is putting her passion for music to good use as she raises money for charity with performances at venues and businesses across the Fylde coast.

Emma Jackson, 28, has already raised £875 for Stand Up To Cancer through performances at the Blackpool piers, the Flying Handbag pub, Bloomfield Club, Stanley Road Working Men’s Club, the Sutcliffe Hotel, Sainsburys and various rest homes in the resort.

She said: “I have set myself a goal of £1,000, so I’m nearly there.
