Singer revelling in fatherhood as baby arrives

Shane Jnr, son of resort-born TV presenter Coleen Nolan and EastEnders actor Shane Richie, has welcomed daughter Amelia Rose to the world, sharing a picture on Twitter.

The former St Mary’s Catholic Academy pupil, who appeared at the Opera House back in October in the world premiere of musical Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, said, on the social media site: “Welcome to the world my beautiful Amelia Rose. Mum’s doing great, emotional and long day. #love #daughter”

His impending fatherhood was announced on national TV by his mum on ITV’s Loose Women in September, also revealing that he was not in a relationship with the baby’s mum, called Emma.

Shane Jnr’s younger brother, pop band Rixton frontman Jake Roche said, also on Twitter: “I’m an uncle.

“Wow!! So happy.

“Going to be a great dad @shanerichiejnr!

“Can’t wait to meet her. Love you mate x.”
