Shops and eateries plan for Prom site

Driven Developments Ltd is seeking approval from Blackpool Council for a series of changes to Flannagan’s, also known as The Beach Hotel and Tommy Duck’s.

The application proposal is for alterations to elevations and advertisement consent for new signs at the property.

This would enable a mixture of uses for the building including a small Spar convenience shop, a bakery, pizza outlet, a fish and chip shop and a Subway outlet.

The property has been placed on Blackpool Council’s list of Locally Listed Buildings which means historical criteria must be taken into account when determining the application, but it is not within a conservation area.
