Tastebuds were tickled over the weekend as Lancashire’s finest foodies came together for two days of delicious fun showcasing the region’s finest fodder.

Barton Grange Garden Centre, on Garstang Road, Brock, hosted its annual Food and Drink Festival where more than 30 of the county’s top producers got together to share their tasty treats with hungry revellers.

The festival was held over two days, Friday and Saturday.

Guy Topping, Barton Grange managing director, said: “We’re an independent, family business and we’re very proud of our Lancashire roots, so we love taking this opportunity to showcase all the amazing food and drink that is produced in Lancashire and the north-west.”

Stallholders from across Lancashire displayed a diverse range of culinary delights, from cupcakes to curry, which were enjoyed by 4,000 visitors.

Guy added: “It’s a really popular event with our customers and the food producers themselves.”
