A special service to mark the anniversary of Victory over Japan Day will take place in Blackpool tomorrow.
The event, at 11am, commemorates the day, 72 years ago, that effectively singled the end of the Second World War.
On August 15, 1945, the Empire of Japan surrendered to allied forces.
The Burma Star Association has organised the event in Blackpool, which takes place at the Fylde Memorial Aboretum, on Moor Park Avenue, Bispham.
All are welcome to attend.
