Sergeant '˜made derogatory comments' about detainees at Blackpool Police Station
A sergeant who allegedly verbally abused detainees at Blackpool Police Station, in Bonny Street, has been given a written warning.
Sgt David Reeder was also accused of failing to complete custody paperwork properly, and failing to challenge a colleague who also made derogatory comments.
He was accused of gross misconduct and could have faced the sack after appearing at a hearing held at Leyland Police Station late last month.
