Calling all budding Beyonces!
Those with the moves are being asked to get ready to star in a unique dance video at Blackpool Tower.
The Big Dance Off on August 16 and 17 needs 100 ladies and girls to sign up for a professional training session with the JC Dance team, before being filmed dancing to a Beyonce track at locations throughout the Tower.
Trinity Hospice will benefit from the event, which it is hoped, will become a hit on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The Dance Off has been organised by the founders of the Fylde Coast business networking group Pink Link Ladies, Coral Horn and Rae Stephenson. Rae said: “We are really excited about this project as it gets ladies across a range of ages and abilities involved, all in aid of a very worthy cause.
“We can’t wait, as the day itself is set to be great fun and celebrate in the spirit of the North West’s most famous landmark.”
Natalie Bromley, fundraiser at Trinity Hospice added: “We are extremely grateful to Coral and Rae for involving us.
“Not only will it help us to raise much needed funds to support our work, it will raise awareness of what we do too. We can’t wait to see the final video.”
Participation involves a minimum sponsorship of just £25 for adults and £15 for girls (aged between five and 15) and includes a dance lesson with professional choreographers, branded T-shirt and a downloadable copy of the final video.
